Stock Condition Surveyor

Stock Condition Surveyor, Temporary Contract to August 2019, Suffolk, Rate up to £30 per hour

Your new company
We're pleased to be working with an organisation in Suffolk that are looking to recruit up to 2 Stock Condition Surveyors for a 6-month contract. The organisation has some 8000 properties that they need surveyed, to ensure that the asset data is correct, up to date and can be used to create an accurate asset management plan.

Your new role
As a Stock Condition Surveyor or Building Surveyor, you will carrying out site inspections to undertake full stock condition surveys to the external fabric of occupied properties and communal areas. The surveys are completed using PDA's with information feeding back into the asset management database.

The successful candidates would be required to provide a professional surveying function and technical expertise to the organisation as required. You'll need to be able to work under your own initiative and will need to be able to plan and programme your workload to ensure the targets are met.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Building Surveyor or Stock Condition Surveyor you'll have experience in working with residential properties in a housing association or local authority setting. You'll need good communication skills and a great work ethic.

What you'll get in return
This contract is set to last until the end of July 2019 through may be subject to review and extension. We're offering an excellent rate of pay and the ability to work in an area-based role. You'll be reporting back into the offices, but you'll largely need to plan your own workload and manage your own day effectively.
