Housing Development Programme Manager, Suffolk, 9-12 month contract, Rate up to £350 per day

We're pleased to be working with a local authority in Suffolk that are looking for a Housing Development Programme Manager to cover maternity. You'll be joining a commercially minded and multi-disciplined property team that deal a range of property and asset management issues. The organisation has significant ambition to redevelop and regenerate the area, through both new build and redevelopment projects.

Your new role
The Housing Development Programme Manager will join a busy team that primarily look after property refurbishment and regeneration related projects. These residential developments are at varying stages of completion, with 6 at critical stages in the programme. A number of them are going through planning and detailed design phase, with others already needing onsite project management and delivery. Some of the sites are either tenanted or publicly owned and so there will be a significant need to carry out consultations and to engage with stakeholders to minimise impact and disruption.

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for a Housing Development Programme Manager that has worked for a housing association, local authority or a private housing developer. You'll have experience in managing varied residential development projects, from feasibility and planning through to completion. The Housing Development Programme Manager will be working in a client facing role and so stakeholder engagement and experience of holding consultations will be highly beneficial.

What you'll get in return
We're offering the chance to take on an exciting series of projects that will drive regeneration and investment in the region. The contract is expected to last for between 9 and 12 months and will be for 2-3 days per week. We're offering a rate of up to £350 per day, though it is unknown yet as to if this will fall outside of scope of IR35.
