Building Surveyor

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a progressive consultancy based in Central Lancashire who are seeking to appoint a Building Surveyor either currently working towards their MRICS APC or someone that has just completed the APC.

Your new company
A progressive, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Central Lancashire with other hub offices across the UK specialising in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Residential Surveying and Project Management.

Your new role
As a Building Surveyor, you will be working alongside a Building Surveying team, you will be providing both project and professional services across a range of high-end commercial projects.This is an opportunity to join an expanding team at and progress to a senior level and to fulfil a major role in this expansion, with significant opportunities for promotion and career development. This exciting firm have an exceptional reputation in the market and are known for their fun and people focused culture which has resulted in high staff retention rates.You will be involved with Building Surveys, commercial and due diligence reports, Dilapidation advice, Schedules of condition, Party wall matters & Building re-instatement cost assessments (RCA's).

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a BSc Degree in Building Surveying and ideally be MRICS however this is not essential. You must however have previous consultancy experience with strong interpersonal skills and be computer literate.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary on a 37.5 hour working week, flexi-time, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays with the opportunity to buy an additional 5 this also increases with service. Lunch is paid for by the business 4 days a week, with the expense of RICS fees, mobile & laptops covered. You will also receive frequent CPD training with two career reviews per year with target orientated bonus scheme and free parking.
