Managing QS / Commercial Manager (Civils) - London £80-100,000


Our client is a Leading London specialist contractor, focusing on Civil Engineering (groundworks, foundation engineering, underpinning and retaining structures), Construction (Pre-con to design, fabrication, erection of steel and concrete structures & frames) & Demolition. With a distinguished reputation and over 40 years in the market place, they have a strong pipeline of work running into 2020 and are currently in a phase of growth and expansion.
As a Commercial Manager, you will be based in their Central London office reporting to the Commercial Director working on packages valued from £1M-£50M (and more).

You will manage/oversee:
Support the pre-contracts team at tender stage Project delivery including pre-contract elements.
Sub-contract management, procurement and negotiation.
Valuations and supervision of sub-contracts.
Review of interim applications.
Project valuations, planning budgets and costing.
Management of projects to final accounts stage.
Cost/value reconciliations and ensuring standard costs are accurate.
Risk management.
Resolution of contractual issues.

You will have:
A degree (Quantity Surveying) or equivalent experience. Relevant project experience (Groundwork's, RC Frame, Demolition) showing progression and technical experience over the last 10 years or so.
