Project Manager, Suffolk, Rate up to £400 per day, out of Scope

Your new company
We're working with an organisation in Suffolk that is looking for a senior Project Manager to join on an interim basis to manage a range of estates and maintenance related projects.

Your new role
As a Project Manager you'll be working closely with the estates and maintenance teams as well as at a senior/executive level in the organisation. You will focus purely on "one off" or "cyclical" project work or monitoring as directed by management team, which would include either managing projects on a stand-alone basis or assisting other managers with their projects.

The Project Manager will need to; development business strategy, set up project teams and plans and monitor milestones, assist with creating project management documentation, and develop the internal project management process. You will also need to procure construction contracts/projects and have a good understanding of contract law in a construction and maintenance environment.

They could be working on the following (not exhaustive):
* Assisting with implementation of new HRA Asset Management Strategy and improvements to the organisation's asset management system
* Assist with finalising business case for maintenance management system improvements and investment
* Assist with the implementation of a six month project and associated "culture change" moving to an electronic paper free & agile maintenance system
* Assist with implementation of new MIA (Maintenance, improvement, adaptations contract) - £7.5m over 5 years
* Assist with reviewing key objectives of 18/19 Operations Plan and reviewing performance in areas of the business directed management team

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experience Project Manager with experience of implementing a range of projects in a construction and maintenance setting. You may have worked in a housing association or local authority setting and will be experienced in delivering a mixed portfolio of projects. Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or APM will be ideal though not essential. A strong understanding of project planning, management and reporting will be essential.

What you'll get in return
We're offering a contract that is expected to last for a minimum of 6 months and a day rate of up to £400 per day. It is expected that due to the project based nature of the position this post will be out of scope of IR35.
