Regional Facilities Manager based in Suffolk £45-50K per annum + benefits

Your new role
I am currently looking for a experienced Facilities Manager to join a busy maintenance team based in Ipswich who will provide leadership and management for defined contract region and in house team of staff. You will be accountable for the overall performance of the contract ensuring the highest standards of customer service, budget management and operational performance are met and exceeded. Own all regional financial planning and performance; including the preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts and annual operational and capital spend plans, effective management of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.You must ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are developed, to deliver increased turnover and profitability through additional services and projects and that contracts are re-won and re-tender. You must ensure PPM and Reactive SLA performance is achieved through management and monitoring of the CAFM system.Ownership of all project works on site and liaison between project teams and client stakeholders to ensure a One Team approach. You will own regional compliance for contractual commitments, log book maintenance and all QHSE standards and procedures.You will act a point of escalation for in and out of hours issues and incidents across your region.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a very high calibre candidate, educated to degree level or equivalent. Previous regional Facilities Management or Property experience for at least 5 years managing multiple sites. This includes Line Management responsibility for Company personnel and contractors and the management of service agreements as applicable. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication people engagement skills. Good analytical, organisational and planning skills essential. Strong understanding of QHSE competence and compliance. IOSH Managing Safely is a must but NEBOSH is desirable, as well as C&G Legionella & (L8) Water Hygiene Role of the Responsible Person and ILM recognised people management qualification. Must have a full driving licence as travel to London, Leicester and Haverhill is required.
