Excellent static opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to manage a team of three on a permanent basis

Your new role

Your new role will be managing a small team of three. You will ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices, to ensure the team are fully compliant and follow industry best practices. You will ensure all electrical installations within the centre comply fully with IEE Regulations, 17th / 18th Edition and assist in keeping records. You will also update and maintain site log books with details of any PPM tasks completed reporting any tasks that could not be completed or require additional works. You will issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems. You will ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience of working within a multi-trade team, working closely with site management. You will also need the relevant Qualifications from an Electrical and/or Mechanical discipline within the maintenance industry (desirable). It is desired that you have previous experience working at a lead / supervisory level and experienced in carrying out PPM's in line with SFG20 or equivalent with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience. You must be capable of Supervising Reactive Repairs and Small Projects. You will also need to be experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification and uploading onto Service Systems.
