Hays have been retained by Regional contractor in their search for a Site Manager for a project in Oxford. This company have been awarded several high-profile projects for 2019 and beyond and are in need of a Site Manager to joint their ever-growing team.

Your New Role

As Site Manager you will be given the responsibility of managing the delivery of an integrated commercial fitout or managing a large car showroom project. As Site Manager you will be given a certain level of ownership over the running of site operations.

You will be required to guide subcontractors and manage your direct labour force in the delivery of the project. As Site Manager you must have the required contractual knowledge and experience in liaising with Contracts Managers, Directors and the supervision of subcontractors. You must also have a full understanding of all health and safety guidelines and how they are implemented on site.

What you need to succeed

As a successful Site Manager, you must have the required experience in the delivery of car showroom projects both on time and to the highest standard. You must be able to communicate and delegate to both subcontractors and your own labour force. In order to further this application, you must have an up-to-date SMSTS and First Aid
