Senior Traffic Engineer

Your new company
Your new firm is a multi-disciplinary design and engineering consultancy with an exquisite office headquarters in Central London and South London (role based) in conjunction with another office in as well as in Surrey to cover its South-Eastern presence. Around 30,000 strong in employees. the firm has a strong history in large-scale projects including the Traffic Engineering team. Key projects spread across London with major projects including Crossrail 1, HS2 and Wandsworth Town Centre amongst others.

Your new role
Your role will involve taking a leading role on scheme designs, developing designs from initial stages to the construction design stage with all the subsequent stages that come in between. You will be able to work across London and the UK, although you will be based in one of the London offices. You will develop into a proactive management role whereby you can continue to mentor staff and enhance the quality of work in the team. You will prepare technical drawings relating to schemes and you will manage work packages as well as meet with external or third parties.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have good experience in designing and implementing public realm, urban highway and transport schemes, ranging from high street improvements and cycle schemes to road safety schemes and signalised junctions. You will be an expert in AutoCAD and will have experience in 3D Design. You will be familiar with producing full detailed design drawing packages and you will have knowledge and experience in detailed Bills of Quantities and Rough Order of Magnitude costs.
