Your new role
As a Principal Architect you will be expected to assume various responsibilities such as leading and managing substantial and complex projects while mentoring and coordinating others; evaluating and advising on environmental, legal and regulatory issues; keeping the commercial performance under your control; preparing detailed plans and resource schedules to match workload forecasts and resource allocation; contributing to commercial bids, feasibility studies and planning applications and other regulatory issues and applications.
In addition, participating in the detailed design process and the production and coordination of design information including preparing and presenting concept and detailed drawings; ensuring that duties are carried out in accordance with all relevant policies, legislation, company procedures and Quality Assurance procedures including Health and Safety; administering a range of contracts including as a minimum the JCT and NEC suites.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need to be a qualified Architect (preferably chartered), have experience on team management, mentoring, supporting and guiding members of the team, have knowledge on all current regulations, as well as have experience of Contract Administration, Site Supervision, Project Management and CDMC regulations.
The preferable candidate will also be able to demonstrate and illustrate knowledge and experience across all sectors of the RIBA Plan of Work 2013 and be comfortable using Revit and deliver projects up to BIM level 2.
