Estates and Facilities are seeking to recruit a Building Technician to join its small but very busy Property Services Team.
This exciting and varied post will be responsible for supervising and administering a wide range of service contracts, such as signage and automatic door maintenance.
You will also be responsible for overseeing a range of minor refurbishment and move projects under £100k in value, as well as carrying out regular inspections of student residence sites.
You will report to the Buildings Operational Manager within Property Services.
You will hold a minimum of an HNC in Building Studies with a wide knowledge of all aspects of the building industry and substantial post qualification experience.
An IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or an equivalent Health and Safety Qualification is desirable.
