Your new company is a specialist environmental consultancy based on the outskirts of St Helens, who undertake advisory roles on major projects across the UK and overseas
Your new role
Your new role will be preparing Flood Risk Assessments and preliminary Surface Water Management/ Drainage Design Reports to support planning applications for residential and commercial development projects.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have a relevant degree in civil, water or environmental engineering (or equivalent) and be chartered or working towards Chartership. The applicant will have experience in hydraulic modelling and a practical understanding of hydrology. You will also have experience of producing drainage design for residential and commercial developments (including Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems), alongside a working knowledge of the UK Flood Risk Assessment regime.
You will be proficient in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage (or similar) and hold a valid UK driving licence.
