Scheme Manager needed in South Wales for an ongoing temporary contract

You will be working for a Housing Association in South Wales who supports the local community, providing help and support in regards to housing and wellbeing.
Your new role
As a Scheme Manager you will be working on a full time (35 hours) ongoing temporary contract. As a scheme manager you will be managing a elderly supported housing project carrying out tenancy checks, sign ups and maintenance of the project. As a scheme manager you will meet prospective tenants and carry out viewings, liaise with the Lettings Officer and the Void Surveyors to ensure that properties are re-let as quickly as possible and that rent loss is minimised. As a scheme manager you will provide practical advice to existing tenants regarding re-housing. You will encourage tenants to engage with the community and become more independent.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful scheme manager previous experience carrying out the role or similar is essential. You must have working housing knowledge and be able to advice and signpost in regards to tenancy management and tenancy sustainment. As a scheme manager you must have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with tenants from all backgrounds effectively.
