Maintenance Officer required to join an Estates & Facilities team in the South West

As a Maintenance Officer, you will join an Estates & Facilities team who are responsible for strategically managing a diverse portfolio of property, including a mixture of commercial operational and residential structures. You'll be able to benefit from working across an area of natural beauty, involving yourself in projects spanning across rural East & South Devon.
Your new role
In your new Maintenance Officer role, you will be working within a team to provide both leadership and day to day management of maintenance related activities. You'll be managing maintenance works and repairs, advising contractors and colleagues regarding the maintenance of buildings and also providing expertise on the mechanical & electrical systems.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a Maintenance Officer in this role, you will be ideally have a qualification in an engineering discipline, as well as being able to provide an expert knowledge in electrical installations. You should also be able to apply expertise within legionella management, as well as planned preventative maintenance for building fabric.
What you'll get in return
In return for joining your new employer as a Maintenance Officer, you will receive a starting salary of £32,000 per year, you will also be able to take advantage of an excellent annual leave allowance of 31 day increasing on a time served basis up to 34 days.
