A permanent Recruitment consultant job based in Southampton specialising in construction and property. As a consultant specialising in construction and property recruitment you will work across different sites including Bournemouth and have access to both offices.

Your new role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Hays in Southampton and Bournemouth ,you will manage the full 360⁰ Recruitment Consultant role. You'll be managing the end to end recruitment life cycle, helping both our clients and candidates achieve a lasting impact. You will nurture existing relationships as well as winning new business. You will be contacting candidates with expert market knowledge, advertising roles, networking, using our market leading technology to search for candidates on our database, as well as providing consultative information to your clients.
What you'll need to succeed
There's not one typical person that makes a good Recruitment Consultant. We've got people from all kinds of backgrounds - graduates, non-graduates, sales professionals, retailers, ex-tradespeople, people from hospitality or real estate… and unlike other agencies we don't need you to have previous recruitment experience. To succeed in recruitment you'll need to demonstrate that you're sales driven, results-focused, and possess an ambitious drive to succeed . Recruitment is hard work and it takes time and perseverance to achieve results so resilience, persistence and determination is key. You need to be passionate about sales, people-focused, outgoing and confident.
You must have a FULL UK driving licence.
