Civil & Building Contractor seeking Senior Quantity Surveyor


Senior Quantity Surveyor job opportunity available with an established Dorset based civil and building contractor. The role is paying a competitive salary of circa £60,000 - 65,000 + package.

Your new company
Having established themselves across the South this regional Civil Engineering Contractor have built a solid reputation based on quality and delivery. The business complete design and build projects on a range of civil projects up to £15 million. They work with an array of clients, with a business t/o of circa £45 million.

Your new role
The role has become available due to the companies continued success and as Senior Quantity Surveyor you will become a vital member of the team reporting directly into the Commercial Manager. Over a period of time you will work on an array of projects, however initially you will be managing projects for a key client, new to the business. The majority of the work will involve S278 works as well as heavy civils.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role you will need to be a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 10 years' experience ideally within the civil engineering sector managing Design & Build as well as NEC contract forms. You must be a good communicator with an ability to provide relevant commercial information to the site based teams, directors & clients alike. As the face of the organisation it is vital that you have a professional attitude and the ability to fit well into the team as the company ethos is that of a family run business that promote and reward hard work.

What you'll get in return
For the Senior Quantity Surveying the role this business are willing offer a competitive salary up to £60,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience. You will also receive a generous employment package including car or allowance, 5% pension, 26 days holiday + bank holidays and healthcare.
