Your new company
Hays Building Services seek to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for our client, a global fully integrated professional and technical services firm based in Belfast. Our client is expanding and are looking for someone experienced to join the building services team to get involved on some major, exciting local and international projects.

Your new role
A Senior Mechanical Engineer will be involved in all aspects of design and specification of HVAC & PH Systems as well as client and site meetings and onsite inspections and commissioning witnessing. The successful candidate will have proven design experience, delivering to quality, time and budget. This role will suit an individual with a mechanical engineering / building services degree or relevant experience; who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and looking to advance their career.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a graduate in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience. You must have the ability to design straight to screen in AutoCAD and ideally Revit. Relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering design, including areas such as central plant, HVAC, PH and BMS/ controls specification. A track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services designs covering for example, large scale Leisure, Health and Commercial projects. Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients and contractors. A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ideally a member of an appropriate professional Institution (CIBSE, IMechE etc).

A relevant Building Services Degree is preferred although not essential.
