Due to their consistent growth and increase in workload, they are now looking to employ a Senior Structural Engineer to help drive the company forward and continue their top quality service.
Your new role
In your new role you will be fully involved in Project design from commencement to completion and will be responsible for preparing/checking structural design calculations. You will be the lead engineer on a wide variety of projects within a range of industries, particularly in commercial, retail, leisure & industrial developments
Due to the seniority of the role, you will work with and manage other Engineers and Technicians to enable the smooth running of projects. You will represent the organisation at design team meetings with key clients and stakeholders and will be heavily involved in the business development of the company.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar and will be chartered or working towards chartership. You will have a good understanding of the building process, design management, building process and ultimately know how to interact with other stakeholders in the construction process. Excellent communication skills are vital, both written and verbal, for developing relations within the team and externally with clients. Particular experience of design within the built structures environment is essential.
What you'll get in return
