Your new company
Your new organisation is a g15 housing association committed to urban regeneration looking to build over 6000 new homes over the next four years in addition to having around 50,000 properties across the country. The company has a turnover of over £200m. The company has recently celebrated its 50th year in existence having supplied homes all across the UK and is now focused on the next 50 years, with its three year strategy well in place to kick that process off.

Your new role
Your new role involves Identifying and acquiring suitable development sites as well as ensuring maximum value creation from land investments. You will also promote sites through the planning system to obtain planning permission. Your task will be to match annual targets for land with implementable planning permission to go into production Brownfield and Greenfield Sites. Your role will involve managing land and property assets acquired for development but not yet in production.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of providing advice and recommendations regarding planning issues and manage the regulatory risks of the process. You will have experience of proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and customers, to support achievement of project outcomes. You will be a chartered member of a relevant body such as the RTPI or RICS. Your previous experience will include working independently to develop plans for schemes and managing budgets for assigned projects with a balanced focus on delivery of immediate priorities with longer term strategic objectives.
