Your new role
The role as a Senior Transport Planner will include project managing and liaison with both design teams and clients. You will also be their to support and mentor junior staff within the team whilst taking on the technical work including transport assessments, statements and travel plans in support of planning applications. You will assist in the development of masterplans for large projects and new settlements as well as preparing construction traffic logisitics and delivery & service plans. You will be carrying out junction modelling using Junctions 8, Linsig & Transyt in addition to analysing and presenting traffic data. The role is diverse and enough to keep you busy and challenged.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will have a desire to develop a long-term career within a busy and dynamic team and are willing to work and contribute to not only your own but the team's ultimate success. You will be degree qualified in either civil engineering or geography or transport planning related field who has developed technical skills named above during their career so far in transport planning. You will need to have worked on transport assessments within the private sector and have some commercial background.
