Your new company
Your new organisation is a multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy that operates within planning, architecture, building services and quantity surveying amongst others. The planning team specialises within planning applications, master-planning, estate generation and strategic land promotion amongst others. Their client base consists housing associations, commercial property developers, landowners and private residential developers amongst others. The organisation is very eager to develop its planning team in London and is therefore looking to add a senior member to their London planning team.
Your new role
Your primary role will be to lead the planning team in London including ensuring the other members of the team achieve their individual targets to achieve growth within the London region in addition to achieving personal fees exceeding 2.5x your salary. You will be expected to actively engage in senior management team meetings as well as cross-sell other services offered by the organisation to new and current clients. You will contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of the London team's business plan.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need relevant qualification through the RTPI and have a track record of successfully delivering projects for a diverse range of clients. You will have a solid understanding of the commercial, target-driven culture of private planning practice through recent work history in private sector planning. You will have knowledge and experience of managing planning consultancy staff and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to successfully grow teams through nurturing key client relationships.
