Chartered Building Surveyor job based in Surrey, part time / flexible hours - Private Sector Residential Property

Your new company

Your new company is a well established and respected firm of Chartered Surveyors who have developed an innovative modern method to their profession which has driven constant success and an impressive reputation.

They are looking for a Building Surveyor to support their experienced team with daily responsibilities, as they look to take on further business and expand their client base.

Your new job role

The job role will be based in the Guildford head office and will involve travel into and around London.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of residential property surveying.

Your day to day tasks will involve carrying out pre-acquisition surveys and providing advice around maintenance
and repair costs.
You will be required to assess and identify building defects, advise on Party Wall Awards, including Schedules of Conditions.

You will be responsible for monitoring the standard and quality of repairs, ensuring rectification is completed if necessary and will be responsible for Quality Control throughout any building projects.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a full or associate member of the Royal Institute Of Chartered Surveyors, practical experience is essential as you will be expected to carry out your responsibilities unaided.

You will need to be a pro-active, motivated and organised individual with great time management skills and a keen attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively and professionally with both clients and colleagues alike, with the desire to develop strong relationships with both parties.

You will need to take pride in your work and of your role, as you will be representing the company and upholding the brand values and core principles through your work.
