Building Surveyor, Public Buildings, £25.50 per hour, 6-9 months, South Wales.

Your new company
Your new organisation is a public sector team who have a stock of 300 public buildings to manage including over 60 schools, leisure centres, community centres, offices, libraries.

Your new role
Your new role as a Building Surveyor will involve undertaking surveys of building defects on the commercial property portfolio and to collect and complete the data files to ensure the maintenance team can prioritise their work. This will in turn be upgraded and maintained to the highest possible standards.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience surveying public buildings and in particular commercial property, an understanding of public sector policies and procedures would be seen as an advantage but not essential.

What you'll get in return
You will receive weekly payments through Hays of circa £25.50 per hour (depending how you chose to get paid this will also depend on your benefits such as holiday pay). Minimum of 37 hours per week with possibility of extra hours dependent on work levels.
