Due to an internal service redesign, we are now looking to recruit a Principal Planning Officer to work in the heart of the city centre on an ongoing. Your new role
As a Principal Planning Officer, you will be based out of the City Centre, you will be responsible for the caseload of between 40-50 applications, working in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing and determining planning applications and dealing with appeals, should they arise.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have experience as a Planning Officer or Town Planner and be able to pick the role up and work under your own initiative. There will be full system training provided, however you must be able to pick up the cases as they are raised with minimal supervision. You must also have experience of working within a Public Sector / Local Authority organisation.
