Hays are delighted to be working with one of Belfast's newest and most exciting architectural practices to assist them with the growth of their team. This practice was formed in recent years and have already built a reputation for designing and delivering a wide range of commercial and residential projects across Northern Ireland. Projects have included new build and refurbished office developments with interior design, bespoke one-off residential, retail developments, leisure schemes, ecclesiastical and high density residential developments.
Your new role
Based in Belfast City Centre in close proximity to City Hall, you will join a team of c. 15 design and technical staff in a highly modern office environment which is close to many cafes, shops and public transport links.
Working in a collaborative open plan office you will support management in the running of architectural projects. You will act as independent project architect and be responsible for leading and managing projects from concept design stage through development of design and all required stages or applications for statutory approvals, production information, specifications and the tender process. As a lead individual you will be given the responsibility to host client meetings, design team meetings and regularly attend sites to review progress and coordinate information with your team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Registered Architect, ideally with at least 3-5 years' post Part 3 experience in an architectural practice. You will have a portfolio which demonstrates your work to date. It is expected that you will be competent in carrying out the full range of professional services and have working knowledge of NI / UK building regulations. In addition you will be full proficient in AutoCAD and ideally have strong sketching ability. A knowledge of Revit would be advantageous.
