Your new company
With a presence in six major cities across the UK, your new company are an innovative transport planning, infrastructure design and flood risk, hydrology and sustainable drainage consultancy that specialise in assisting the property development industry to maximise the commercial value of land and assets throughout the planning process. They have gained an excellent reputation for master planning and securing planning consents for both complex and challenging schemes. With a very promising order book, they are now looking to appoint a junior transport planner in to their already very strong team.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be part of and learning from a highly experienced team with a wealth of experience between them. You will be working on schemes that are generated from transport planning issues spanning across all sectors including mixed use (up to 10,000 dwellings), retail, residential, commercial and energy sectors. The team have led the transport planning aspects of some of the largest and most prestigious projects in the UK. With over 250 clients and 400 live projects at any one time, some of the companies that you will be working with include Sainsbury's, IKEA, Costco, Westfield, EDF Energy, Greater London Authority, Redrow, Admiral, Legal & General, Crest Nicholson, BBC, Land Securities and British Land.
What you'll need to succeed
To really excel in this role, you will Ideally have graduated recently with a 2.1 (or above) Bachelor's degree and/or a Master's degree in one of the following subjects: Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Economics, or Maths; or a related discipline. You will be a determined and hard working individual that is a confident communicator as dealing with clients will be a large part of your role moving forward.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary between £24,000 - £27,000, dependant on experience and qualifications. Also included is a flexible benefits package along with 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays. This is a great company offering a really exciting opportunity for everyone involved.
