Site Supervisor (Caretaker)
Site Supervisor role in Facilities Management. Ellesmere port based £19000 salary.
Your new company
You will be working for an established leader within the property sector. In additional to facilities management they offer a wide range of services from construction, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, to property development. Due to an increase in work they are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor to the facilities management team based in Ellesmere port on site for a primary school.
Your new role
You will provide a pro-active and re-active building maintenance service. It is essential that you maintain an excellent working relationship with the on-site school staff, including the Head Teacher. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Liaising with the Facilities Management Help Desk ensuring that all client reporting systems are implemented. Act as Health and Safety representative carrying out routine health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Contribute as part of the client operational team to the development of the premises ethos and culture. Responsible for carrying out the following regular checks: Carrying out statutory and maintenance checks to plant and equipment. Check site maintenance log book and action entries as appropriate. Check for internal and external building fabric damage and action as appropriate. Ensure all public access areas including car parks are unobstructed and free from litter and major debris.
What you'll need to succeed
You must possess previous experience in a similar role within a service environment being able to demonstrate your knowledge of FM operations. The ideal candidate will be organised, methodical and have excellent communication skills. It would be beneficial if you have a trade background e.g. joiner/plumbing and possess a CITB Site Supervisor qualification or equivalent
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary around £19000 plus contributory pension scheme, healthcare arrangements, Monday - friday 37.5 hours.
