You will be working for a well known and respected M&E Contractor established over 50 years ago with a turnover of £100 Million plus. They are one of the UK's leading providers of building services, with a highly credible track record on the design and safe delivery of complex, multi-million pound projects. Their business meets the highly specific requirements of our built or new-build customers; many of which are blue-chip national and international organisations. Your new role
You will be an Electrical Project Manager working on large commercial fit out projects in London. You will be a site based Project Manager. The projects will all be commercial, some new build and some refurb. You will be managing the project from working alongside the design team and verifying design through to commissioning and handover. This will involve organising pre-site meetings H&S, RAMS, managing orders for contractors, through to final account and handover. Average Projects range from £500K to multi million pound projects..
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience managing the full life cycle of projects. Preferably with values over £1M. You will be client facing with good clear communication skills. You will have reasonably good computer skills. Having experience carrying out surveys will be very ideal. You will have good time management and the ability to work independently. Fit out experience is a must. Ability to work with designers, check estimates, control sub-contractors, manage projects, good with paperwork, confident with good people skills and able to cope under pressure will also be expected. You must have experience working in the UK.
