Your new company
You will be working for a leading independent, multi-professional consultancy practice working within the property, infrastructure and construction industry. Due to continued growth they are looking to expand the building surveying team in Manchester with an MRICS senior building surveyor. They have an excellent reputation for innovation and service and for being a great place to work. They provide the complete consultancy service needed to deliver property and construction projects. Delivered through 11 UK offices, the firm employs over 450 staff, and has operated for over 150 years within the UK property market.


Your new role
You will be responsible for carrying out surveys, inspections, schedules etc. and be responsible for the overall management of schemes in the region. Working on a range of projects for an ever growing client mix, including the public sector (education, healthcare, blue light, defence, utilities), this role provides an exciting opportunity to develop within a small but dynamic team.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have Project management experience of building maintenance work, refurbishment and alterations of existing buildings. Contract administration experience (JCT / NEC3). Knowledge of building principles, preparing plans and specifications. Ability to monitor and report on progress and expenditure of projects. Excellent communication and client facing skills. Chartered membership of RICS or CIOB.
