Electrical Estimator required for reputable Leicester based construction company - £40-50k + Car

Hays Building Services are working in partnership a long established commercial construction company experienced in New-Build, Fit-Out and Refurbishment in commercial and industrial sectors, both private and public. Their client base includes some well-known names, both public and private organisations in the commercial, industrial, healthcare and educational sectors. These clients include DHL, Carillion and the Ministry of Defence.
Your new role
The role is to breakdown client enquiries, organise or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed electrical estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably.
You will support the Business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities. Using relevant industry experience, you will be expected to help develop and refine the estimation process to improve efficiency, clarity, and accuracy while reducing overall costs.
Although the role is predominantly estimating, you may be required to carry out elements of project management (ordering materials, sourcing labour etc..)
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience estimating for electrical projects (values up to £1-2million)
- Some design experience would be advantageous
- ONC/HNC electrical and electronic engineering (desirable)
- 17th Edition electrician
- 2391 Inspection & testing (essential)
- Experience using AutoCAD/ Estimation software (desirable but not essential)
- Working to tight deadlines
