Macdonald & Company have been invited to recruit for a well known, well regarded regional brand who are seeking to appoint a dedicated property professional to support the Head of Property on a 14 month FTC. They will need to effectively manage the Group Property Services team to create an environment commensurate with the development of the team and improvement of service. The chosen individual will work closely with other key stakeholders in the company, and they will look to them to bring a consistency of approach within the property portfolio. They will be expected to be commercially aware with experience in managing a team, as well as an understanding of building pathology and preparing a schedule of planned maintenance in all aspects of the portfolio. The successful candidate may have worked in a multi-site retail and/or manufacturing environment and must have previous building surveying experience, possibly MRICS or experience commensurate with this. Exceptional communication and personal skills are of paramount importance to this business; they have a strong, values based culture and therefore the ability to understand and embrace this will be absolutely critical. This post is based in the Yorkshire region and the chosen candidate will be currently based in (or be able to relocate to) this region. Salary circa £40k- £50k + benefits, dependant upon experience.
