A leading logistics company in the car industry are adding a positive H&S/ISO Manager to their Swindon team.

Your new role

As Health & Safety/ISO Manager, you will report to the General Manager at the Swindon base, covering an additional 3 locations in the area.

The key purpose of the role is to use their knowledge and skills to promote a positive Health and Safety culture within the workplace. You must ensure that employees comply with health and safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to. To plan, implement, monitor and review protective and preventative safety measures across the business. Examine company processes to ensure that ISO standards are followed. Ensure that necessary ISO documentation is completed and updated, as required. Support ISO internal/external audits company-wide.

This is a mobile role so a Full UK Driving Licence is required, although you will receive a company car. The working hours are Monday-Thursday, 7.45am-4.30pm and Friday, 7.45am-2.30pm.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful person will have an investigative approach and excellent communication/presentation skills. You must have managerial experience in an engineering, manufacturing or logistics role, but additional knowledge of FMCG/Construction will be an advantage too.

You must have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and strong knowledge of working in an ISO/Quality environment.
