Design and Build Contractor seeking a Infrastructure & Civils Contracts Manager to oversee specialist packages

Chartered Building Consultancy & Design and Build Contractor who complete groundwork, brickwork and utilities packages on Commercial and Residential schemes across the UK. The business provide support across pre-construction and construction phases and our now seeking a Infrastructure / Civils Contracts Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your new company
Operating out of Surrey the business started off as a consultancy and expanded into contracting work, now operate UK wide (predominately South East). They provide Architectural, Project Management and Building services working alongside principle contractors and developers completing Groundworks, Utilities and Brickwork packages. The projects range from £150k - £5million. With the business continued growth the managing director now has the requirement to take on a contracts manager with future opportunity within the business.

Your new role
The business are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with 10+ years' experience. You will become an important member of senior management working closely with the Director as well as other key members within the organisation. Managing multiple schemes, you will be tasked with managing the projects so they are completing within time and to budget, chairing client meetings, programme / coordinate work, oversee H&S, contract documents and operatives on site. You will be required to visit sites 2/3 times a week so the role will involve travel across the South of England and UK.

What you'll need to succeed
10 + years' experience within a management role with experience on groundworks, brickwork and utilities projects. Qualified with a HNC, HND or BSc in construction / civil related degree. IT experience using software packages such as MS Projects / ASTA. Professionalism with ability to chair meeting with all relevant stakeholders and clients. Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time. Willingness to travel across the south of England and UK and to stay away when required (2/3 times a week).
