An Associate Structural Engineer is required to join an award winning, multi-disciplinary engineering practice

This award winning, engineering consultancy has provided cutting edge and high quality design solutions for over 3 decades. They have now become one of the leading practices in the South, specialising in Residential, Education, Healthcare, Retail, Commercial and Leisure markets. Due to market growth and an influx of exciting new projects, a permanent associate structural engineering job has become available in their London offices

Your new role

Managing an experienced and dynamic team you will be required to produce both sustainable and innovative solutions to help make the inspired visions of your clients a reality. You will also be required to assist in the mentoring of associates through the management of project teams. As an Associate Structural Engineer your primary responsibilities will include the calculation and preparation of preliminary designs, the developing project budget and timescale delivery and negotiating fees with the clients.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in your new role you will need to have a number of years U.K. based experience, managing projects in the housing, education, commercial and public sectors, ideally for another small to medium sized engineering practice. You will also need to be a chartered member of The Institute of Civil Engineers or The Institute of Structural Engineers. You will also need to demonstrate that you are able to effectively work both within a team and with your clients.
