My client is a leading organisation in the Financial Services Sector; they provide a range of services to private clients, corporate, professional practices, and non-profit organisations. They occupy 13 offices across the UK & Ireland, including a HQ in London and employ 1700 people. They are looking to recruit a Assistant Hard Services Facilities Manager to work from the London office and will need to provide management and supervision of the group's hard services and facilities delivery, including; repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical services, utilities and premises fabric. You will also need to provide technical support to the business continuity team and to manage the group's energy provision and usage. Acting as the management point of contact for day to day Mechanical and Engineering (M&E), premises fabric, energy, statutory compliance and will report into an Associate Director of Facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised M&E qualifications and proven understanding of facilities management for both hard & soft services. You will also need to have a strong understanding of M&E services, BMS, fire detection and life safety systems. You will also need to have a good understanding of energy management, H&S and project management.
The role would suit a Junior level Manager or a Senior Supervisor with an understanding/experience of hard & soft FM.
