Concrete Plant Supervisor job in Cambridgeshire to start ASAP with a competitive remuneration package

They work across a number of fields within the civil sector and due to continued success they are looking for a Concrete Plant Supervisor to start as soon as possible.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the production and supply of Ready-Mix Concrete which will include duties such as:

  • Effectively operate a batching plant to standards required by the company using laid down procedures
  • Ensure that all technical testing required for the production of concrete at the plant is carried out to the correct standards and timescales
  • Maintain accurate materials/stock dates as required by nationals procedures and in doing so minimise the number of discrepancies/anomalies at each month end
  • To supervise other staff and drivers at the plant so as to ensure optimum productivity without compromising health and safety, environmental, or QA standard


What you'll need to succeed

Key elements of this role will be to have knowledge of site specific SHE procedures, working knowledge of concrete production, plant and materials as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Ideally you will have extensive experience of Ready Mix batching operations but they will consider those with experience in prestressed concrete or asphalt operations. It would be highly advantageous to have a loading ticket.
