Buyer needed for developer in Cambridgeshire paying £20,000 to £40,000 depending on experience

Your new company

Focusing on quality build affordable houses they have a number of developments in scenic locations in and around the region. Privately owned they have stable financial backing and long term developments building 35 to 40 units per year.

Your new role

Based on site in Cambridgeshire you will be responsible for the purchasing of materials for their 3 current sites of 2/3/4 bed houses. You will be involved in the negotiation and agreement of prices from builders merchants and suppliers as well as placing orders and liaising with the Site Managers to ensure they have what is needed on site.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally your experience as a Buyer will have been gained with a house builder/developer but those from a merchant background will also be considered. You should have experience in buying directly from suppliers as this will form part of the job and familiarity with take offs would be an advantage.

What you'll get in return

Salary will depend on experience ranging from £20,000 to £40,000 as they are flexible on the level of experience for this role. You will be working with a company that has long term developments offering stability.
