Operations Manager role in Facilities Management. Preston based £52000 & £6450 car

You will be working for an established leader within the property sector. In additional to facilities management they offer a wide range of services from construction, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, to property development. Due to an increase in work they are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to the facilities management team in Preston.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director and working as an essential part of the senior management team your primary role will be to deliver an effective operational service ensuring consistency across the business through the management of a team of Facilities Managers whilst also ensuring services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements and to the client's satisfaction, with good commercial financial management. You will be responsible for Developing annual budgets and reviewing financial performance on a monthly basis to minimise business risk and maximise opportunities. Effective two-way communication on a monthly basis with the Facilities Managers to discuss performance and operational matters including delivery of planned, reactive and statutory maintenance. Undertaking monthly reviews of contractual and business performance including on-site audits to ensure that our statutory and contractual responsibilities are satisfied. Delivering contract specific energy management and reporting with support from the energy manager. Providing the necessary input into new schemes, including the mobilisation and handover process. Maintaining strategic relationships with supply chain to deliver appropriate services. Assisting the Managing Director in developing the business strategy and business plan to grow the business.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and have or be willing to work towards BIFM intermediate as a minimum. It is essential that you have PFI operational experience and have a comprehensive understanding of PFI contracts. Additionally you will have relevant IOSH and Legionella certificates. It goes without saying that you will be an excellent communicator with a natural ability to influence, negotiate, motivate and lead the team.

You will receive an attractive salary depending on experience £48000 - £52000 plus car allowance £6450, contributory pension scheme, healthcare arrangements, on site gym and nursery.
