Senior level Town Planner, Permanent Salary, £40k - £50k plus benefits
Your new company
This organisation is responsible for one of the largest regeneration projects in London that will deliver a new urban quarter in accordance with its status as an Opportunity Area identified in the London Plan. The new development will deliver a new office quarter for London with 4 million square feet of office space that creates approximately 20,000 new jobs and 7,500 new homes.
Your new role
Your role will include processing and assessing planning applications as well as negotiating improvements to development proposals. You will advise clients and other users of the service in person, on the phone and in writing. High quality customer service will help build good relationships with clients. A wide range of administrative work will be required to support delivery of service.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified town planner with a proven track record of dealing with a range of planning applications. Your ability to work under pressure would be essential. You will be able to demonstrate a previous analysis and presentation of solutions to planning problems. You will have good IT skills with excellent verbal and written communication accompanied.
