Program Manager (Planning / Scheduling) - Construction / Modular Manufacturing £90,000 + package

Our client is a residential developer bring the modular concept to high-rise living across the South East. They have a proven model and schemes in the pipeline. As a Program Manager you will be supporting Project Management in the building of luxury high-rise apartments in the UK including supply chain, modular production/manufacture and construction divisions.
You will:
*Prepare, update, and maintain all levels of Integrated Project Schedules (from Master to Detailed) for: engineering, procurement, construction, start up and operations. *Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work, as required. Used to finalise construction sequencing and manufacturing processes, and contracting plans. *Schedule of purchasing strategy, including commodity management, vendor management, contract management, competitive sourcing and materials planning for the modular manufacturing process, freight management, inventory control methods and safety initiatives. *Optimize master scheduling, planning, production control, logistics and supply chain processes in order to ensure proper flow of materials throughout the value stream. *Scheduling internal and external resources, managing contracts, monitoring costs, report financial KPIs and follow schedules for project task completion. *Develop and analyse man-hour resources, equipment resources and cost loaded, time-phased schedules. Provide support with budgetary and technical data of existing work as well as planning for future work. This includes tabulation and analysis of labour costs & man hours, material requisition research and preparation. *Maintain simplified logic schedules to highlight status of key interfaces for critical path review. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and project summaries. Evaluate progress vs. schedule and "critical path". *Provide progress reporting documents and briefing materials as required. Develop creative reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments. Responsible for promptly reporting schedule slippage or other variances. *Possesses master schedule system and project interface and integration understanding and appreciation for time frames necessary including Special Systems, Power, HVAC and other related disciplines. *Work with Project Management and CI personnel to ensure that design, specifications and contracts are followed and that work is done according to schedule and within budget. *Review drawings and specifications to assure constructability and conformance to authority and industry criteria. Review and monitor project scheduling to identify delays, conflicts and evaluate impact. Review and process design changes, field changes and extra work orders. *Assist Project Management personnel to prepare project closeout packages to be transmitted to the appropriate personnel and departments.
You will have:
*A Degree (Construction), with 10-years planning/scheduling experience. *Strong background in the core project controls functions of Design Management, Project, and Program Management. *Experience on multiple projects/programs in front-end project planning, project definition and implementation. *Experience in resource/cost loading, cash flow, and earned value management. *Experience with large-scale Construction Project Software such as Primavera and Computer literacy (Maximo, Microsoft Office Package). *Demonstrated experience developing and managing a progress reporting methodology for a complicated design effort. Experience with Design-Build and Construction Management at Risk delivery methods is desirable. Ability to do Cost Loaded Schedules. *Ability to Interpret BIM. *Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling. *Desired: PMP Certification.
