Available Temporary Facilities Assistant Job in Manchester area
Your new company
Your new company help to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors. They support them in achieving and exceeding those standards, and take action when they are not met. They are currently looking for a 6 week cover for a Facilities Assistant to work their Manchester site.
Your new role
In your new role you will involve rotating between departments covering their Reception, Helpdesk & Document Services roles. You will answer and transfer telephone calls including attending Facilities calls, you will also perform general activities such as booking Meeting Rooms and setting up Video Conferences. You will escalate any problems to the Facilities Team and you make sure records of the location of assets such as furniture and audio-visual equipment are kept up to date.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of working in a front line customer facing environment, have excellent interpersonal skills and you must be IT literate. Being proficient in the use of Excel would be an advantage as would use of automated Help Desk or booking systems. You must be self-motivated and able to work in an organised and efficient manner.
