Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for overseeing civil projects. This will include coordinating all parties involved to ensure that everything is done according to the quality agreed and meets the deadlines set. As well as managing the projects, you will also be managing the engineers and technicians within your team. The types of projects that you will be working on could range from large scale apartment blocks to multi-story car parks to office blocks, and everything else in between, designing drainage and highways schemes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be educated in civil engineering, or a relevant equivalent, and looking to achieve chartership if not already chartered. Relevant previous experience is essential as you will be expected to hit the ground running. As you will be in a role that involves coordinating and management of both people and projects, strong communication skills are going to be crucial. You will also have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and any experience with Microdrainage and Civil 3D is a bonus.
What you'll get in return
This permanent position is offering a competitive salary of between £26,000 - £33,000, depending on your experience and current level, plus an excellent flexible benefits package. You will be entitled to 26 days holiday plus all bank holidays with an additional day accumulated every second year.
