Assistant Project Manager
An Assistant PM job in London working with an established Contractor delivering into the Commercial market.

Your new role
You will assist in controlling and delivering construction projects to meet specifications (quality, cost, time etc.) such that all budget, risk, specification, project timescales, customer and business objectives are met in full. Furthermore you will ensure full compliance with company health & safety and legal requirements. In your role you will need to keep up to date with modern methods of construction. Typical contract value will be up to £3m and you will gradually be given responsibility for controlling and managing select projects as pipeline increases, ensuring the safe delivery of large construction projects; time, procurement and client interface. Your position will offer a clear and defined pathway to Project Manager level.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have 2-3 years min experience seeing projects from ground to completion and ideally you will come from a Main Contracting background and you will be educated to degree level. You will be dependable, driven, and keen to use modern building / management techniques. You will be focused welcome the opportunities to grow, learn and develop. Crucially you will have SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications.
