Graduate Structural Engineer
Graduate / Semi-experienced Structural Engineer required for a leading consultancy in Bedford.

Due to continued growth they are seeking a Graduate level / 2+ years' experience Structural Engineer.
Your new role
In this job you will be given responsibilities including working alongside and with the Structures team director and the engineers, preparation of sketch schemes for idea exploration and working with the technicians to produce working drawings. You will also be responsible for design calculation package preparation. The organisation will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of work including building structures, civil structures and landscape structures.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. You will also need at least 2 years' experience in the design of building structures as well as the capability to design using the staple structural materials. Furthermore, the job requires the production of structural calculations, therefore you will need to have had previous experience with this and be able to communicate verbally and through writing very well. It is essential that you possess a strong desire to understand and learn as this is a job which will provide a strong platform for your Structural Engineering career.
It would be advantageous for your application if you had experience of using TEDDS calculation packages as well as knowledge of AutoCAD software.
