Family run main contractor with a solid pipeline of high profile projects is looking for a Design Manager

Based out of rural offices south of Preston, they are within easy commute of Preston, Warrington and Manchester. They are working on several frameworks for education and commercial projects, and have a growing private sector portfolio of cultural, residential and commercial projects too.
Your new role
You will be primarily responsible for the coordination of all the construction packages for several large scale and £multi-million projects across the North West. Ultimately your role is streamlining the entire process, ensuring smooth delivery of all drawings to site, with regular liaison and quality communication with client and subbies at the forefront, along with value engineering, chairing design meetings and taking the project through all pre-construction stages.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have Design Management experience with a main contractor in the UK, and be able to demonstrate exemplary pre-construction knowledge and experience. Ideally you will have worked on education, commercial and residential projects, be able to read and interpret information from AutoCAD & Revit software.
