Graduate Building Surveyor - Freelance - EXETER
Graduate Level Building Surveyors required to join a surveying team on an initial freelance basis
Your new company
Joining as a Graduate level Building Surveyor you'll become a part of a busy surveying team who are involved in all delivering projects across all stages of the built environment. Providing modern and compliant facilities utilised by hundreds of people each month, you'll be a key member of the delivery team working on extensions, refurbishments, alterations and other small capital builds.
Your new role
You will join at a Graduate level as a Building Surveyor, working closely with two Senior Surveyors on the delivery of both small and large projects. Applying your existing skills, you'll have an opportunity to develop your expertise across all elements of project delivery, from design, through to feasibility,specification, tender, site-supervision and final delivery. You will also enhance your skills in cost management, project management and defect analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you should have a degree or equivalent in Building Surveying or a similar subject. You'll need to have a positive approach to building on your existing skill set and a willingness to learn new surveying skills as you progress in the role.
What you'll get in return
Joining as an initial freelancer you will be paid on an hours worked, hours paid basis, however this is highly likely to become permanent after the initial contract period for the right candidate. After the role becomes permanent you will have access to investment in training oppertunties and support towards your APC>
