Do you want to influence the quality and efficiency of residential development and affordable housing in London at a strategic level?

Notting Hill Housing exists to provide good quality housing to those who otherwise couldn't afford it. We are inspired by the impact we can have and are passionate about creating a better London. We believe that we could always do more and in 2018 we plan to merge with a like-minded partner, Genesis Housing Association so that together we can make a bigger difference for those in housing need across London and the south east of England.

Our development programme is well established and targets 1,600 homes per year. As we grow and through our proposed merger with Genesis this is due to increase to 2,700 homes annually. That's both ambitious and exciting, particularly as our pipeline includes both private and affordable residential tenures as well as non-residential uses, forming vibrant mixed communities.

We're giving you the opportunity to positively influence all of our development projects. You'll do this by establishing improved construction quality assurance regimes, lead on our cost management strategy and our new Employer's Requirements - and that will just be your first six months

We'll trust you to use your expert knowledge to drive improvement and innovation in our technical building and development processes at a strategic level. Like us, you'll be an advocate for build quality, value for money, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

Our team drives positive change so we'll support your focused approach to getting things done and delivering results. You'll enhance the work our project managers do to deliver successful schemes by providing an expert technical advisory service while maintaining a robust framework of standard processes, documents and specifications. For this reason we'll need you to be adept at sharing your expertise gained in practical technical roles with others.

We'll trust you to influence change across the department, utilising your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and collaborate closely with development partners. You'll be our trusted advisor, so your excellent construction knowledge will be important to make your mark in this role.

We're open minded when thinking of hiring the right person. You may already have experience of technical roles within the housing association sector - we'd also welcome interest from professionals with a private developer, contractor or built environment consultancy background.
