Health & Safety Advisor, Long term contract in Ross-shire, Rate £DOE
Your new company
You will be working for an established organisation in the Ross-shire area as a HSE Advisor for a long term position (maternity cover).
Your new role
You will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring HSE policies, procedures and systems. In addition you will provide HSE guidance to all company personnel whilst encouraging a positive HSE culture in the work place. You will be tasked with carrying out regular site inspections, chairing HSE meetings escalating any issues to the General Manager. This is a key role within the HSEQ team. You must also be computer literate and able to keep up to date records for audit and compliance purposes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate clear experience in a similar HSE role, be able to prioritise your workload to ensure that a strong safety culture is evident in the organisation. You must hold formal HSE qualification such as NEBOSH. Experience of working in the construction sector is preferred, however you will be considered from the oil & gas or marine sector.
