Excellent new job in Blackburn for a Principle Building Surveyor offering £45000 - £55000 + package
Your new company
You will be working for one of the UKs largest and most diverse multidisciplinary consultancies in the design, management and infrastructure sectors. They are also a market leader in strategic public/private partnerships with local authorities. Due to expansion they are looking to appoint a Principle Building Surveyor to the business in Blackburn.
Your new role
You will be responsible for service delivery to a wide range of clients in designing solutions in private, education and local authority sectors. You will be responsible for: early stage design & feasibility work, develop details briefs with the client, carry out design work and administer contracts. You will allocate resource accordingly, manage a lead a growing team of building surveyors. Undertake business development, prepare fee proposals for new work. Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (surveys, dilapidations, DDA etc). Manage monthly fee targets, Autocad experience, develop new pipeline of work and existing relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be MRICS qualified and have demonstrable line management experience. You will have previous experience of business development and able to establish good working relationships with clients. you will be self motivated and able to work without supervision. You will ideally have experience in education health or leisure projects. experience in public sector and ideally an understanding of academies funding.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £45000 - £55000, pension contributory 5%, other benefits package and clear progression and opportunities in the business.
