Assistant Supported Team Leader required in Gloucester for an established national housing provider


Your new company

You will be working for a local housing association who is focused on providing engagement and innovative support services to their tenants, working in collaboration with others to enhance the wellbeing and independence of individuals and communities.

Your new role

As a assistant team leader you will be working on a permanent full time basis in Gloucester. As an assistant team leader you will support the Team Leader in day to day management, service delivery and service development of the project, for their 34-bed high support service. This service provides support to service users who have high complex needs supporting them toward independence. Within this assistant team leader role you will be responsible for management and effective delivery of health and safety compliance, leading service co-productive development, small case load and line management of the Estates Officer role. As a assistant team leader you will provide day to day operational management of a support services team, in the absence of the team leader, including the delivery of all services to clients and management of front line staff, in accordance with contractual obligations.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you must be passionate about supporting vulnerable people. You must have a desire for supported housing and looking for a step up in your housing career. You must have working knowledge of support service delivery and some understanding of delivering services within a Psychologically Informed environment, as well as holding strong knowledge in housing management. Furthermore, to be successful in this role you must have strong knowledge of support service delivery. Most importantly you must be passionate about making a difference and be able to lead a small team towards helping people towards independence.
